WarmlyYours Supports Efforts to Cure Juvenile Diabetes

The incidence of Diabetes is on the rise and is well on its way to becoming a worldwide epidemic. Raising awareness for this disease is critical, as we all know someone that is personally affected by either Type I or Type II Diabetes.

Juvenile Diabetes is a chronic metabolic condition that affects a person’s bloodstream, creating multiple health problems. Being diagnosed with juvenile Diabetes is a life sentence of insulin shots, finger pricks, and physical problems with fluctuating high and low blood sugar. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is dedicated to finding a cure.

Recently, WarmlyYours participated in a fundraiser for juvenile diabetes by donating a Barcelona Towel Warmer for the event. J.J. Twigs Pizza in Lake Zurich and JDRF, joined together to host the fundraiser, to support local youth to find a cure for juvenile diabetes.

The donations that were received were used directly toward helping 22 students in District 95 schools fighting the disease.
