Heated Hardwood Floors

Complement the strength and beauty of your hardwood flooring with a WarmlyYours Tempzone™ floor heating system. Tempzone™ systems install under both nailed and glued-down hardwood flooring.

Most wood manufacturers recommend that the heated hardwood floor temperature be maintained between 80 to 85 degrees. The exact temperature depends upon the type of wood, the manufacturing process and the drying process used by the manufactuer. All of these factors affect the amount of moisture in the wood. WarmlyYours Smartstat™ is equipped with an infloor sensor to precisely control the floor's temperature to comply with the manufacturer's recommendation.

WarmlyYours system can warm most types of wood floors. However, when considering solid hardwood flooring options, it is important to note that the thickness of the floor will significantly impact the system's energy efficiency. In a test where the heating element reached a standard temperature of 115 degrees Fahrenheit, the floor temperature of a thin 3/8" solid wood floor was on average 6 degrees warmer than a thick 3/4" wood floor.
