Industry Insights: WarmlyYours Radiant Heating Releases Inaugural Report on the State of the Electric Radiant Heating Market
WarmlyYours offers new resource on current issues and trends in the electric radiant heating market
CHICAGO and TORONTO - February 11, 2014 - WarmlyYours Radiant Heating, a pioneer in the electric radiant heating market, announces its first annual report on the industry. The “2013 Annual Report and Industry Outlook: State of the Electric Radiant Heating Market” is the first in a new quarterly series of reports to share information on the performance of the company and the industry as a whole.
“In our research, we realized that there is no single, go-to source for information specific to the electric radiant heating industry. We looked at our own experience and resources, and thought, why not fill that gap ourselves?” said Julia Billen, president and founder of WarmlyYours.
In the current report, WarmlyYours shares performance data for the company, trends in the remodeling and housing industry for 2013, and an outlook for 2014. Last year proved to be the strongest since the recession with robust sales across product categories and geographic areas Subsequent reports, to be published on a quarterly basis, will be expanded to include additional information and updates, exploring factors that influence the market, identifying areas of concern, and discovering innovative products and services in the radiant heating industry.
WarmlyYours has been an innovator in the electric radiant floor heating industry since 1999. Among the company’s many notable market contributions, WarmlyYours was the first company to introduce 24/7 technical support—now the gold standard of the industry—and radiant heating products that do not require an adhesive for installation. WarmlyYours has helped shape industry guidelines for safety and design, with Billen serving as a voting member of Standards Technical Panel (STP) 1673, a UL working group for electric radiant heating.
By introducing its quarterly reports on the industry, WarmlyYours hopes to share its insights and experience with others in the radiant heating industry and open the conversation about the current state of the industry and opportunities for growth in the future.
“The floor heating industry has really come into its own. Far from its tenuous beginnings in the 1990s, it has become an established segment of the home construction industry. As the market for our products has matured and evolved, so must the research, reporting, and exchange of ideas, to provide the key players in the industry with the information they need to guide where it is headed,” said Billen.
“With our new report series, we hope to step up and do our part to advance the radiant floor heating industry and be an impetus for growth and innovation.”
