Use the exact mounting drawing and retain access to install and remove the mirror.
The attached legacy mounting sheet gives model-specific mirror and mounting-pan dimensions for Audrey, Grace, Ingrid and Marilyn mirrors. Use the drawing for the exact model and generation; the outer glass and mounting pan are different sizes.
The mounting sheet does not establish a universal approved one-inch recess clearance. A recess must allow the actual assembly to engage and disengage its mounting hardware, leave its controls accessible and preserve the required electrical access and installation conditions. Measuring one inch from the smaller mounting pan does not establish room for the glass.
Use the installation method in the supplied mirror manual. If a recessed arrangement is not documented for that model, obtain a model-specific mounting detail before cutting the wall. Do not frame tightly around the glass or conceal service access based only on the old one-inch suggestion.
