The Hardwired Programmable Timer (GK16-30090-0002) supports both temporary and permanent manual control:
- Temporary override — Briefly press the push pad to toggle the towel warmer on or off. The timer will automatically return to its programmed schedule at the next scheduled event, so this is ideal for a one-time exception to your routine.
- Permanent manual mode — Press and hold the push pad for several seconds to lock the device on or off indefinitely, bypassing the schedule until you manually change it again or re-enable automatic mode.
Important: The towel warmer's own built-in on/off switch (located on the unit itself) must be in the ON position for the external timer to work. The timer cannot power a unit whose built-in switch is physically set to off.
