Most low voltage HVAC thermostats are OK to use with tile floors. If you are heating wood, vinyl, carpet, or any other products that have a "maximum temperature" limit, these types of thermostats are not recommended UNLESS they have an input for a floor sensor. Check with the thermostat manufacturer about floor sensor inputs first, before buying any integration kit.
