Floor Heating Home Automation Integration Kits Description
WarmlyYours makes it easy to connect your floor heating system to your home automation system or stand-alone thermostat with our 240 V Integration Kit. The kit includes an electric heating relay with a built-in 24V/1.2VA/Class 2 transformer. Operating at a resistive load of 22 amps at 240 V, with epoxy soundproofing to ensure quiet relay operation, this 240 V Integration Kit includes 3-wire, double-pole switching and a 12 AWG terminal wire. Its low current consumption means that a single thermostat can control multiple relays. The heating command indicator light provides for immediate verification of relay operation, and a terminal board connection allows for ease of installation. The Integration Kit is C-UL-US Listed for safety, and WarmlyYours backs it with a 3-year warranty against manufacturer defects.

While WarmlyYours electric radiant floor heating systems are typically installed by your floor covering contractor, a licensed electrician is recommended for the final thermostat hook-up. With every quote, we provide an Installation Plan layout, together with an electrical plan that has all the info required for the electrician.
The breaker and wire sizes are selected based on the total amperage of the WarmlyYours heating system connected to a single thermostat. This information is on the WarmlyYours heating system's installation plan, electrical plan, or UL label. Based on guidelines from the National Electrical Code: loads up to 16 Amps may utilize 12 gauge wire with a 20-Amp breaker, and loads up to 12 Amps - 14 gauge wire with a 15-Amp breaker. Local code and/or other factors may change these guidelines.
No, floor heating thermostats are not compatible with the towel warmers. We would also not recommend using both devices on the same control, as it does not take the same amount of time to reach the ideal temperature for each product, which could lead to one unit to overheat and the other to not function properly.
