Along with our radiant experts, our service division manager joins us, who has over 20 years of installation experience. Whether measuring, installing or repairing radiant products - we share what the services can offer for each step of a radiant project.

Hello. Thank you so much for joining us. My name is Lynn, and I am a customer service representative here at WarmlyYours. I am joined today by John Ludwig, the technical installation services manager with WarmlyYours. Today, we will be discussing our smart services for your radiant heating project. If you have any questions during the presentation, please don't hesitate to ask. You can do so in either the sidebar chat or at the bottom of the screen in the "Ask a Question" module. If we don't get to your question right away, we will address it by the end of the presentation. Additionally, we've been experiencing some technical difficulties, but if you notice any sound issues, please let us know so we can resolve them.

We will be covering our smart services, which include Smart Install, Smart Guide, Smart Fit, and Smart Fix. Each of these services has unique features and pricing that we will explain in detail. Smart Install is our product installation service, where we can come out to the job site to install both floor heating and snow melting systems. This service is available within a 100-mile radius of the Chicago area. If one of our trained technicians installs the system, the project will qualify for a lifetime warranty. The service encompasses installation for both indoor and outdoor heating systems.

To ensure a smooth installation process, we will provide you with a checklist to confirm that the job site is ready before our arrival. This checklist will help ensure that everything is clean and free of debris, furniture, or other items that could hinder the installation. It is crucial to complete pre-installation checks, which include gathering contact information, basic project details, dimensions, floor heating type, underlayment, and subfloor specifications. Once we have this information, we will supply an installation checklist to guide you through the process.

Our team will be with you throughout the entire installation, verifying dimensions, flooring, and room layout. We will review the installation plan and electrical requirements to ensure everything runs smoothly. However, please note that we do not handle thermostat installation or electrical wiring, so it is essential to have an electrician on-site. This will help facilitate a quick and efficient installation. Smart Install services are available for both embedded and floating floor heating systems, as well as for snow melt systems, including roof and gutter de-icing systems.

For our Smart Guide service, we offer remote, supervised installation, typically conducted via video conference, often using Zoom. We are also working on incorporating additional platforms. If you are within 50 miles of our office, we can provide on-site supervision as well. This service includes a pre-installation meeting to ensure everything is covered and to clarify how the installation will proceed. During the installation, we can supervise remotely, answering any questions that arise and ensuring the system is installed correctly. This service applies not only to our floor heating systems but also to radiant panels, towel warmers, and countertop heat.

The Smart Fit service offers either on-site measuring or remote measuring via video call. For on-site measurements, we will travel within a 100-mile radius of the Chicago area. Please note that additional fees may apply depending on the job site location. It is important for the customer or contractor to be present during the measurement process to sign off once all measurements are collected. After gathering the measurements, we will forward the information to our design team, who will create a full installation plan tailored to the project.

When preparing for the measuring process, ensure that the space is completely clear of furniture and other items that could interfere with accurate measurements. We will document not only the dimensions of the space but also the locations of floor vents, columns, plumbing, and any other obstacles that could affect the heating layout. This information will be crucial for our engineering and design team as they develop the installation plan, which will also include a comprehensive electrical plan.

For snow melting systems, we will also conduct measurements either on-site or remotely. One of the primary considerations for concrete installations is the location of expansion joints. Clients can choose between full coverage or tire tracks for snow melting, and the available electrical supply will influence the installation design. We will check the required junction box position and any necessary electrical infrastructure during the measuring process, ensuring that all aspects are accounted for in the SmartPlan.

Our Smart Fix services are available for both floor heating and snow melting systems within a 50-mile radius of Chicago. This service is offered on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. If there are any issues with your system, we will work to get it back up and running. It is essential to have an installer for the flooring and an electrician on-site during this service, as we will assist them in troubleshooting and resolving any problems. Notably, we are one of the few companies in the U.S. that can repair competitors' products, offering a five-year warranty on repairs for those products and a ten-year warranty on repairs for WarmlyYours systems.

Regarding pricing, on-site services include travel within a 100-mile radius. For Smart Install, which is on-site only, the cost is approximately $399 for a day of installation supervision (about six hours), with additional days priced at $150 each. If we are handling the installation, the cost is also $399 for six hours, plus $3.50 per square foot of installed space. Additional days for installation will incur a fee of $199. Smart Guide services, whether remote or on-site, are priced at $75 for the first hour and $75 for each additional hour. For on-site measuring through Smart Fit, the cost is $250 for up to three rooms in residential areas, with an additional $10 for each room beyond that. For commercial projects, the fee is $350 for up to 20 rooms, with $30 for each additional room.

For remote measuring, the cost is $75 for up to three rooms, with a $10 fee for each additional room. Smart Fix services are priced at $150 per hour for remote assistance and $349 for the first hour on-site, with each additional hour costing $150. Additional fees may apply for services outside the standard area or if an overnight stay is required. We are happy to discuss pricing and provide installation quotes based on your specific needs.

If you have any questions or topics you would like to discuss regarding our services, please feel free to ask. It is also important to note that we can travel out of state for repairs, depending on the location, although additional costs will be incurred for this service.
