Use the implanted device manufacturer’s guidance for the particular device and heating installation.
An EMF test certificate for a heating product is not medical clearance for every pacemaker or implanted defibrillator. Check the electromagnetic-interference guidance for your exact implanted device, and ask your device clinic or manufacturer about the specific floor-heating system if that guidance does not address it.
Medtronic lists electric blankets and heating pads among household products with no known risk when used as intended and maintained in good condition. That statement should not be expanded into an approval of every installed floor-heating system. Abbott also emphasizes using electrical equipment in good repair and properly grounded.
For a useful compatibility inquiry, provide the implanted device model, heating-product model, control model and any available EMF test document. Have installation or grounding faults corrected by a qualified electrician; do not rely on an unsupported claim of “zero EMF” to dismiss a device-specific restriction.
