We are very happy with our purchase. My husband and I do a lot of the renovation and maintenance in our 1920's home (except for things like major plumbing and electric work). We were slightly nervous about installing the mats ourselves, but it was really very easy. In fact this morning was expected to be chilly and we set the thermostat last night. What a cozy feeling! We love our heated kitchen floor. It had been vinyl and it's over a crawl space, not basement like the rest of the house. We knew it would be a mistake to install porcelain tile without heat as it would draw heat from our feet more than the vinyl. Customer service at WarmlyYours was always there when we had a question. We would absolutely recommend this product to anyone with do-it-yourself skills or a contractor.
Item Reviewed:Just got it installed a week ago. I like the new LCD display. It's clean, clear and easy to read. Programming is a snap as well as setting the program on/off time and temps. One concern I have is with the separate doors that cover the controls. I'm concerned they will easily get broken if not closed tightly or if accidentally are brushed against while walking by. Other than that, I'm looking forward to warm tile floors this winter.
Item Reviewed:Great product, easy to install and when my tile installer cut the element it was very easy to repair
Item Reviewed:Thank goodness for this checker. My tile installer opened the wire and stopped got me and I found the open repaired and he got back to work quickly.
Item Reviewed:Easy to use.
Item Reviewed:The first thermostat that was sent with my original order proved to be defective. After testing on my own for two days, I finally called the WarmlyYours Service Rep. I could have saved a lot of time contacting them first. he Customer Service Rep was very professional and helpful. It took about 20 minutes to run all of the tests. It was evident that the thermostat was defective. A new thermostat was sent to me and installed. It works fine. Easy to program, good instructions and support. I don't have a problem with it.
Item Reviewed:Exceptional product, so easy to install.
Item Reviewed:Quite easy to install. Using blue tape to secure single "loose" heatlines made it easier also. Measurement of actual area critical. Overall great product and can't wait to do it again.
Item Reviewed:Works and was easy to install
Item Reviewed:I installed WarmlyYours in my basement home theatre area and office area on a concrete slab and under laminate flooring. The system was easy to install and works so well I recommended it to my brother. The only issue is that the electrical supply cords to the mats were thicker than the laminate underlayment so it required renting an electric jack hammer and creating trenches wherever the supply cords ran so that the laminate floor would lay flat. I was expecting a ribbon type of supply cord which would match the thickness of the Environ II.
Item Reviewed:This was the first time the tile guy I used had worked with your product and I think at the end he was quite impressed. It seems to be working nicely, but since we have not moved into that space yet it's still too early to tell. Under suggestions, I think it would help us users if you were to include a tape that you approved for keeping it in place with the order. That's about it. Thanks! Michael Gaines
Item Reviewed:Thermostat works fine and is logical to use and program. Instruction manual is well written. Two negative items to report - There are four wires to connect but only three connectors were provided. You recommend using a double box with a mud ring but the thermostat will not fit into the mud ring! There is a step in the housing at the bottom that prevents it from going in all the way.
Item Reviewed:This is a great thermostat with a lot of features and flexibility. You can set it to stay at one temperature or take advantage of the programming options. The controls are fairly intuitive and the thermostat is slim and aesthetically appealing. The display dims automatically when not in use.
Item Reviewed:Simply awesome. We had the heating element installed in our Bathroom directly on top of concrete slab (no cork) to keep our porcelain tile floor comfortable to the touch. One word of advice: make sure that your installer follows the layout diagram provided by WarmlyYours carefully. We ended up with a really annoying cold spot thanks to the contractor's carelessness.
Item Reviewed:WarmlyYours TempZone is simply the easiest and most competitively priced heating system we've used. And because the pricing has remained so competitive for so many years, WarmlyYours has been our exclusive floor heat provider since 1997. We couldn't be happier with the level of customer service, tech. support and the product quality that we have consistently received over the years. And we have never had a single product failure in 14 years. Thanks WarmlyYours! Design Tile LLC Stanley, Wisconsin
Item Reviewed:The system is very warm. I find myself sitting down on the carpet more often. I am saving on my heating bill by not heating the whole house.
Item Reviewed:I have not started living in the house where the flooring is installed. However, so far it seems to work as advertised. The specs and the layout you sent were very helpful. I dealt with Lindy in sales who was very professional. He returned all my emails and phone calls promptly and was able to answer all of my questions. You sent me a mislabeled roll, but promptly corrected the mistake at no cost and minimum inconvenience to me. I place a very high value on customer service and plan to do business with you again in the future. Thank you
Item Reviewed:This was a great time saver. You just hooked it up and started to lay the heater element and then lay the tile. There was no going back and forth to check to see if you had an opening.
