I have had to replace my thermostat twice
I have had to replace my thermostat twice. The first time before I even used it. The second after a few years. So when my floor failed again and the readings looked good it looked like the thermostat again, so I replaced it again, but this time it did not fix the problem.

So far so good. A lot of buttons and I didn't notice the wings for the extra buttons at first, but the instructions are pretty clear.
I'm still early in the learning curve
I'm still early in the learning curve and attempting to find the best setting for our schedule and the room. My initial finding that the unit does not have a battery back-up and will require to be reprogramed each and every time there is a power outage is a minus.
Glad I bought from you
I had a customer have me replace his thermostat since his went bad. It came from a local electrical supply house and cost more than mine that I got from you, and they are the same brand. Glad I bought from you.
Pleasantly Surprised
I was pleasantly surprised at the level of control supported by the SmartStat. Because there is so much control, it takes a while to set up the program. It would be nice if there were shortcuts to set every day, or all weekdays, or weekend days the same and then go in and edit the exceptions (if any).
Works great for me
This thermostat works great for me. I especially like the feature that lets you set a time and a temperature and the thermostat figures out when to start warming up to be at temperature at that time (although I didn't realize at first there is a dip switch that needs to be toggled to activate this feature).
We could make coffee barefoot!
Set it last night for the first time and woke up to a warm floor so we could make coffee barefoot!

Wouldn't buy this again as a good digital multimeter will accomplish the same thing if you have one. Simply check all resistances with regularity as you proceed with the installation.

Fantastic product!
Fantastic product! We found the installation instructions to be complete and easily understood. The only addition I would make to the instructions would be to emphasize the importance of gluing or stapling down the web in many locations, especially when using the two step thin set method. We caused ourselves much extra work by being sparse with the glue down, and then having to go back and level for the second coat of thin set.
I like it
I like it. Coming in mesh mat form definitely helped this first timer. The MULTIPLE warnings about remembering to install the thermostat also helped. I was a little confused for a while about how to trim the excess 'cold' feeds without damaging the 'hot' feeds, but I figured it out with some study. My floors are quite warm where the leads are placed and there is a definite difference between warm and (purposefully) un-warmed sections of my tile. I probably would have preferred a 120v installation where the cold leads were both routed back to the thermostat within the mesh mat system. It was very troublesome to run the far end 'cold' line back to the thermostat. It requires a lot of hot glue and a lot of holding the wire down (until the glue cools) to keep the wire from springing up through the wet thinset. I was only moderately successful. Also, the routing of the cold return wire kept me from pushing the mat as close as I wanted to the threshold, so I have a tiny section of less than warm tile.

Works great. Fantastic. But didn't quite cover the whole floor so we had to leave a few parts of the floor out.

Excellent product! I am now enjoying a comfortable warm ceramic tile floor in the morning instead of the old cold floor we used to have!
Now that it is installed and working, totally love it.
Worked as advertised. Went down with little problem. Unfortunately, the mat was larger than I actually needed, so had to spend some time putting coils behind doors and other places I didn't need just to use up the coil. The measurements and installation guide are good, but not perfect. I did lay out and plan how I would implement the install, and still wound up with more heater than needed. Now that it is installed and working, totally love it. Thermostat system is great and the timer actually changed for daylight savings time automatically as advertised.
Very pleased with the results
I did not personally do the installation, but we are very pleased with the results and convinced we made the right choice to install your product. The online tool for planning the necessary amount was very useful and user-friendly. The detailed installation plan was great; I handed it over to our installer and the installation went without a hitch.
Easy to install
This product was easy to install and has been working well for me. It is important to be sure the correct size roll is ordered as it can not be cut. In my installation I tacked the roll down with a hot glue gun and tiled over the top of it.
One word, Awesome.
One word, Awesome. The thermostat for this device could use a back light and is a little overly complicated with buttons and esoteric pictographs. It's not very intuitive and I managed to lose the English instructions (Good thing I know some Spanish). Clearly an off-the-shelf part as opposed to a dedicated device for towel warming. Probably the only weak link in my heated floors/heated towel rack order.
We love our Infinity Towel Warmer!
We love our Infinity Towel Warmer. We have the built in option and it looks fabulous. It took a bit to figure out the programmiong instructions (mostly how to turn on the appliance), but once that was behind us, every morning we have toasty towels waiting for us. I love the ability to easily turn off for extended away time. My kids are begging for one in their bathroom.
Quite pleased
As an electrical contractor, I've installed several heated floors from various suppliers. Thought I'd try your product in one of my own homes because of the price. The tile installer was quite pleased and so am I.
