Hello, I'm Scott from WarmlyYours, and today we're going to be doing an unboxing video on our thermostat. So stick around as we explore what’s inside the box.
Let’s go ahead and take this apart. It’s important to note that this thermostat is consistent with all of our thermostats; they all come with a floor sensor located in the same position. After removing the cover, we can open the box and take the thermostat out. Inside the box, there is an insert that can be removed. Behind that insert, you will find the screws needed to attach the thermostat to the thermostat box.
Here is our sensor, which is located behind the thermostat. Don't forget to take this out and provide it to your flooring installer. Additionally, you will find your instructions included in the box. Now that we’ve reviewed the contents, let’s revisit the sensor. As mentioned, the sensor is located at the back, and it’s crucial to give that to your installer.
Keep in mind that your floor heating product may also have a sensor attached to it. This means you will have two sensors: the one inside the box and the one connected to the heating product itself. Both sensors should be installed in the floor, but only one needs to be wired to the thermostat. The other sensor should remain coiled up in the back of the thermostat box.
