Hello, I'm Scott from WarmlyYours, and today we're going to be doing an unboxing video on our thermostat. So stick around as we explore what’s inside the box.
Let's go ahead and take this apart. It's important to note that this thermostat is consistent with all of our thermostats, as they all come equipped with a floor sensor. The location of the floor sensor is the same for each model. After removing the cover, we can open the box and take the thermostat out. Inside, we find an insert that can be removed, revealing the screws needed to attach the thermostat to the thermostat box.
Behind the thermostat, we have our sensor. Remember to take this out and give it to your flooring installer. Additionally, you will find the instructions included in the box. Now that we’ve examined the contents, let’s revisit the sensor. It is located at the back of the thermostat, and it’s crucial to provide this to your installer.
Keep in mind that your floor heating product may also contain a sensor attached to it, which means you will have two sensors in total: one inside the box and another connected to the heating product itself. Both sensors should be installed in the floor, but only one will be wired to the thermostat. The other sensor should remain coiled up in the back of the thermostat box.
