WarmlyYours Makes Annual Donation to Children's Memorial Hospital

As part of our annual holiday tradition, WarmlyYours asked every member of the staff to nominate a charity and then we took a vote. Children’s Memorial Hospital received the most votes and WarmlyYours donated $500 to the hospital.

Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago is one of the premier hospitals in the nation. In 2009, the hospital served more than 140,000 children. They also undertake research to advance the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric diseases and injuries. They don’t turn a single child away, regardless of their ability to pay. That’s a tall order, which requires a tremendous amount of financial support.

WarmlyYours is committed to giving back to the community. We believe that some portion of every sale isn’t ours to keep. It must go to those who need our help and what better cause than our children? They are the future of this country.

We didn’t publish this as a way to toot our own horn but instead to lead by example. In order to win this war and allow kids to grow up with all of the opportunities for a full life, hospitals like this need a massive amount of money.

We want to encourage you to donate to Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago or a children’s hospital of your choice. Every single donation makes a difference in the life of a child. If you would like to make a donation, please go to www.ChildrensMemorial.org

I read that they have a fun dance and auction event coming up in February called Snowball (I read it here: http://bit.ly/gGgaU2). I've never been to it, but now that I know it exists I'm definitely gonna go. I'm 23 now but when I was a kid I used to always go to Children's Memorial after school because they were running tests on my eczema (and actually, the dermatologist who worked with me is now world-famous I believe), so I'm very thankful for what they've done for me. Anyone - young or old - should check out that Snowball event, looks pretty cool!
