How do I work with my electrician to install WarmlyYours electric floor heating?

While WarmlyYours electric radiant floor heating systems are typically installed by your floor covering contractor, a licensed electrician is recommended for the final thermostat hook-up. With every quote, we provide an Installation Plan layout, together with an electrical plan that has all the info required for the electrician.

Is electric floor heating safe and what about EMF?

Our electric radiant floor heating systems have withstood rigorous safety testing and earned the UL listing. They produce much less EMF than common household appliances like your TV or vacuum cleaner. The EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute) tests all electrical devices and publishes the data. Many common household appliances are tested at a distance of 6 inches. The test results indicate that on average, the EMF emitted for the following appliances, measured in Milligauss (mG) units, is:

Vacuum Cleaner: 300 mG

Microwave: 200 mG

Portable Heater: 100 mG

Dishwasher: 20 mG

Washing Machine: 20 mG

WarmlyYours TempZone™ (Twin): 1.8 mG

What type of flooring can I install along with an electric floor heating system?

WarmlyYours’ TempZone™ product is most commonly installed under tile, stone, and marble flooring, but can also be installed under many other popular floor covering options such as hardwood, vinyl and linoleum. We also have our Environ system, which is an electric floor heating product as well and is specially designed for installation under carpet (in the U.S. only), laminate and floating wood. WarmlyYours can accommodate any flooring type with either of the electric radiant floor heating products that we offer. If your flooring type isn't listed here, just give us a call at (800) 875-5285 and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

How do you keep a sunroom warm in the winter?

Sunrooms can be very cold during the winter months. While a furnace may push some warm air into the room, the large number of windows, exterior walls, and other causes of heat loss in a sunroom will typically keep it from having a comfortable temperature level. Floor heating and radiant panels will add radiant heat, which the human body absorbs faster than other forms of heat, to the room so that it feels warm even at lower temperatures.

Self-designed

Anonymous, Lake Zurich, IL on 05/07/2021

Our specific needs were met via (both) email and conversational assistance. Our recent purchase was the second time we choose “WarmlyYours”...and (once again) we’re glad we did.

Warm floors are wonderful.

Eileen M., Sherwood Park, AB on 02/24/2021

The floor was easy to install and works well. We had lots of questions and they were answered quickly and fully. The only problem we had was with ordering the mats. The size we were quoted on wasn't available when we ordered within a short time frame and we had to redo our design.

Everything went perfectly

Anonymous, Richmond Hill, ON on 02/15/2021

Ordered on line. Picked up at warehouse. Everything went perfectly. Few days later Troy called to ensure everything went well. Great customer service.

Nice and comfortable

Alexandre C., Montreal, QC on 02/15/2021

At first, I installed heated floors as a luxury to make my home office floating floor more comfortable. Our radiant heating was insufficient for the room, so we added the isolation under our existing floor with the heating elements. This was before knowing anything about COVID-19. With winter coming back, and confinement still active, I can’t express how happy I am to have proceeded. What seemed like a luxury now feels like amazing upgrade that provides me with a comfortable office.

Seat warmer

Anonymous, Columbia, MD on 02/15/2021

This product was installed in a shower. Unfortunately, it only seems to hear half of the seat!

Easy to install to give that needed touch of warmth.

Anonymous, Kitchener, ON on 02/15/2021

I am sitting here in my basement office with my feet on warm laminate flooring thanks to WarmlyYours. The 15 sq ft mat was all this space needed and it was easy to install. Thanks

My office was on the lower floor and was the coldest room in the house....

Mark D., Kelowna, BC on 02/15/2021

Installed WarmlyYours Enviro Easy Mat to cover almost entire floor area (leaving about 1 foot clearance from the wall). The installation was very easy. Put cork on top of concrete slab, then the mat and then on top laminate 12mm planks. Had professional electrician install dedicated 240V feed from my panel. Went with Mysa wifi thermostat. This room is now the best room in the house. Very warm and I love sitting at my desk without shoes, very warm to the feet. I used it all month of december, setup 6am to 6pm 22C ambient and 6pm to 6am 18C ambient and according to Mysa app based on cost of electricity in BC it costed me only $18 for entire month. Incredible.
