Radiant Floor Heating Reviews

Very easy to install!!

Very easy to install. we deviated from the install plan in that we used more free form than shown. it did take more hot melt glue than i thought. we powered up for about a week and it worked quite well. since it is summer we went to standby until cool weather.

I'm very glad we put it in

This is the second time we have ordered this flooring. This time for the second bathroom. My brother and I installed it under tile. Last time cork was not offered. This time we used cork and it sure makes a difference. The floor heats up fast and warms the room also. I am very glad we put it in.

Product works great once we got it up and running...

Product works great once we got it up and running, but it would have been nice to have been informed when we purchased it that due to the area we needed to cover, it required more electricity than the standard amount. Once we figured out why the circuit breaker kept flipping, we had to get an electrician in to do some work that really increased the cost for us. It would be beneficial for customers to know that if they purchase enough product to cover a large area they need a heavy enough electrical supply over the standard household to supply the use. It might alter their plans a little.

We truly enjoy our new heated floor.

We put it in the basement bathroom over cement which was previously always cold. Now when we have a shower we step out onto the luxury of a warm floor and feel pampered. The heat in the floor seems to help keep the entire room cozy. Thank you for a great product.

We now have a warm and comfortable basement

This product (Environ II 120V 6ft x 10ft panel) was easy to install and now for the first time, since we built our home eight years ago, we have a warm and comfortable basement. Note: Make sure you have a thick carpet pad before attempting to install this product. The wires that power the heating pad a thick and if your pad is too thin you will feel the wires through the carpet.

Works well

I installed this product (TH115-AF-120GA) as well as the heating pads myself. I had a couple of questions with the wording of the installation instructions that opened up interpretation issues, but the 24/7 technical support were wonderful to work with and answered all my questions. The control works well at maintaining room temperature the only improvement I would make would be to have an air temp display option added when the unit is in either floor (F) or Air Floor Mode (AF). Currently the only way to show air temp is to disconnect the floor sensor probe and enable AIR mode (A) which effects the efficiently of the unit. Note: Make sure that when installing the system you install the floor sensor probe under the pad otherwise the before mentioned functionally will be limited to AIR mode (A) only.

quite excellent floor heating system for our basement

We installed our Environ II panels in our basement (I hate the cold basement feeling some houses have). The heated floor sure takes care of that! One room is a playroom for the kids, and they like to play Lego while sitting on the warm floor. We have it on timed thermostat so it only comes on when the kids are home, but even if there’s a change in schedule, it’s not a big deal because it heats up to cozy in a few minutes. So far, the product has been quite excellent. We had a minor issue with it not all shipping at once, but an email straightened that out in a hurry. Thanks for the great product! Tom

Keeps our basement warm

PROS: rolled out easy and setting up was easy. Keeps our basement floor so warm it doesn't even feel like a basement anymore. Very glad we installed this product. CONS: When installing on concrete floor we had to cut a fairly deep channel in the floor to the wall to run up to the thermostat. This was messier than expected and would have rearranged my remodel if I would have realized this.

So glad we decided to add this to our basement

PROS:The floor is kept warm and is very helpful for our basement. I am so glad we decided to add this to our basement project. WarmlyYours was the most cost effective way to put in heated flooring. Fast delivery and excellent customer service. I recommend them to people quite often. CONS:The wiring could be a little thicker for better durability during installation.

Reasonably easy to install, help line excellent.

Reasonably easy to install, instructions were good. Help line was excellent, prompt and clear responses to questions. Consideration needs to be made to setting the lead wires into a grooved channel in the sub floor (in my case concrete board) The wire is thicker than the heating wires and affected tile lay. I also did not receive any wiring diagram with my order, this had to be dug up on line. System works fine once operational.

Very good product but tech didn't respond

The Temp zone roll was very good and easy to work with. I did have a problem with the control melting and damaging the thermostat. I e-mailed my concerns which a tech responded but never followed up my response. It is disturbing that the tech never got back to me.

Response from WarmlyYours:

So sorry Joe! It must have fallen through the cracks. We do offer 24/7 tech support so you can call us anytime for installation support.

A little unsure

This was the only thing that made me a little unsure if all was well. I did my ohm readings and hooked up the circuit check, but because they seem so flimsy and me being new to the WarmlyYours I had to just trust that all was well. I did disconnect to hear the sound, but somehow it would be nice to have a more robust unit that I could purchase at the beginning of my installation projects (one time)that would put my unease to rest.
