always been 100% confident with floor heating cables and thermostats, adding an extra floor thermocouple is paramount to ensure lifespan. Never had 1 recall or trouble from 10 years of installations. only con would be the towel warmer, even though it is high quality and strong, I found the mounting hardware a bit flimsy and unforgiving (not to mention the plastic wall plugs which provide no grip in drywall. Precisely measuring all mounting points, the unit ended up crooked (even though a lazer level was used for mounting positions. Diagonally measuring the mounting points was nearly 3/4" off AND the mounting feet have 0 forgiveness, and will leave marks on the finished paint on the walls. Shame there was not a larger mounting plate. The position of hexhead screws are 3/8 from wall and clumsy to tighten without more markings on finished paint. side note, it gets hot, too hot in my opinion

Electrical cover plate
We bought a brushed gold electrical cover plate for our towel warmer. The design of the cover plate didn't fit our warmer. I had to redesign to make it work by inserting a copper pipe inside the plate to fit the warmer's leg. It did the job. The cover plate should have come with screws to attach it to the electrical box. It didn't. Had to buy golden screws to match the plate. The screws on the gold cover plate were chrome finish. Really!!! Not very professional from the company side. Other clients have made the same remarks. The hardware colour should match the cover plate.

Not so hot
Warmer doesn't heat the towels up nearly as much as the older model it replaced (barely lukewarm, even after as much as 5 hours on the warmer). The older model was hard wired but this one is plug-in (maybe too much voltage drop in the power cord?). The warmer itself gets plenty hot, but not the towels, even if we layer a couple of towels on top of each other.

Great towel warmer, you have two options, either hard-wire or plug. I chose to do a hard-wire, the only comment I have is I think having a black towel warmer with a white cord is not as attractive if the cord was black. Before purchasing this model, we tried other brands from the big box stores and the largest on-line retailer (starts with an A). None of them came close to the warmth this puts out, many were not built as well as this one is. If you are looking for right out of the dryer warmth, you will need to place a dryer in your bath/shower area. If you are looking to wrap yourself with a toasty towel right out of the bath/shower, this will do it. It takes about 15 minutes to get to temp, the footprint is compact enough to work even in a small bathroom (like I have). Installation was simple for a hard-wire. It looks good, stylish and sold my contractor on suggesting them to his clients. As always, Technical support was awesome. As a final note, my thermal gun puts the temp on this model at 140, the top-rated from a big box store only got to 92 after a 1/2 hour of being on.

I am mixed on this item. For me personally, this is overkill. What this device can do is incredible, sunrise/sunset, plug in your long/lat and program offset to sunrise/sunset. 50 different programs under PRO mode, standard mode is a fraction of that. I cannot imagine a scenario where one would need 50 different programs. Although, if you are a person with a set routine, and your family is too, this is the timer to have. If you have more variables than routines, you might not use all the functions this can do. Buttons are small, so programming can be challenging at times. My family would not appreciate what this can do, thus I only have 2 programs and the family uses the on/off function only.

I play a lot of tennis, so sometimes I take multiple showers in one day. My towel would not always be dry by the next shower. Now I use the towel warmer and set the timer for 2 hours. It is perfect! Also, the only place we had to place the towel warmer was a little too narrow for the base. The base legs can be turned on an angle so you can squeeze the towel warmer into a tight spot.

Works and looks great
Works great, only issue is this unit does not have a proper finishing plate to cover the electrical hookup. I ended up getting a chrome blank faceplate and custom drilling holes to pass the wire and attach the leg. Also had to take 3/8 of and inch of the one leg so it then sits flush!

Replacement for Towel heating hanger
I loved the towel heater, but it only lasted a few years. I had to purchase a replacement at full price. It appeared it was 1/8 shorter, which made instillation difficult. I hope this one last much longer, they are too expensive to keep replaceing.

Good towel warmer wish there were more sizes available
Took a while to figure out that in order to use the timer I needed to push the button on the actual towel warmer to turn on the heat. I live in NYC so space is at a premium. Could have used a narrower rack that was taller

Doesn't Properly Warm a Towel
I was very disappointed with this towel warmer. I've lived in Europe where they are very commonplace and had a previous towel warmer in my home. So I had a expectation that the towel would be warm when I got out of the shower. I compare the warmth on this towel warmer to that of drinking lukewarm coffee. Yes, it's warm but not warm enough to enjoy. I am happy that WarmlyYours is working with me to replace it with a different brand so I'll have a towel warmer that does the job of properly warming up a towel.

Towel rack switch replacement
I was sent the wrong part but they quickly sent out the proper switch when we contacted them. It was an issue returning the incorrect part but we finally just mailed it back. The staff was very helpful and professional throughout. I did purchase a five pack of the same switch for less on Amazon

great customer service but design limitations
While the customer service individuals were fantastic, and the rack worked great until it didn't, the product itself was disappointing in the sense that it is non reparable and therefore environmentally a very poor choice . It broke my heart to send the entire burnt out unit to the landfill after only 5 years because it lacked any overheat protection. Overheating btw that is not evidently not so difficult to achieve.
