Can you change the mounting?

No, the back of the panel has only two pre-drilled locations. One at the upper half of the unit and one at the lower half.

How does the Towel Holder Bar for Ember Radiant Heating Panels mount?

The bar simply being screwed-in to the pre-drilled holes on the back of the panel.

How many towels can I put on a towel holder bar for Ember Radiant Heating Panels?

Ember Infrared Heating Panel is 24 inches in width and either 35 or 47 inches in length and the average bath towel is 20 -24 inches wide by 40 to 50 inches long. With these dimensions, one towel draped in half over the bar performs best. Two hand towels draped in half would work well too, as hand towels tend to be about 12-15 inches in width.
