Using nJOY thermostat on a floor heating system without a floor sensor, or radiant panel without a need for a floor sensor. Thermostat produces E2 error.
On the thermostat beneath the E2 error, tap the round button to skip this message.
If this fails to clear the error, assure nJoy thermostat is configured for ROOM sensor only, either:
a.) nJOY app: Settings Wheel>Manage Thermostat>Advanced Settings>Sensor Application:ROOM
or
b.) Factory Reset/Startup Wizard: 15 sec multi-function button depress, confirm Yes, and then the second default setting of SE (sensor) to R (Room). Note: ROOM setting causes PR (Protection) setting not to appear.
Then on the thermostat beneath the E2 error, tap the round button to skip this message.
