Check the UWG4 connection, clock and operating mode before changing the schedule again.
For an nSpire Touch WiFi UWG4, first confirm that you are editing the intended thermostat and that it is following its schedule rather than a manual override or vacation setting.
- On the thermostat, open Menu → User Settings → next page → Information → View as text, then advance to page three. Check both WiFi status and Server status.
- If WiFi is disconnected, resolve the wireless-network connection. If WiFi is connected but the server is not, follow the manufacturer’s server-connection troubleshooting. Being connected to the router does not by itself establish an app connection.
- Check User Settings → Time and the day/date. The time can be set manually or synchronized with the server. Check the ZIP/postal code under WiFi / Weather if the server time is wrong.
- Review the schedule on the thermostat. If the schedule is correct but heating still does not run, check for a displayed fault or a floor-protection limit; do not raise the limit beyond the flooring manufacturer’s allowance.
If the app and thermostat still disagree with both connection statuses shown as connected, record the affected event, local time and thermostat model for technical support.
