UWG5 Bluetooth® pairing problems nJoy

  1. Thermostat will not pair with iphone via Bluetooth connection

  • Bluetooth pairing has expired on the phone.
  • The thermostat has been reset (or the Bluetooth token in the thermostat is invalid compared to the phone trying to connect).
  • It is required to remove the entry from the iOS Bluetooth paired devices system list.
  • Follow the instruction provided by the app. Here is an example.

In this case, it is also necessary to remove the thermostat from the Bluetooth list in the UWG5 (nJoy) app. Go to the Bluetooth list (if logged in to your online account. Press the Bluetooth icon at the lower left corner).

  • “Long press” on the thermostat you want to remove. E.g. the greyed out “Bathroom 2” on the list below. Click “Delete” to remove the thermostat from the UWG5 Bluetooth list (This does NOT remove the thermostat from the iOS Bluetooth pairing system list mentioned above since Apple prevents this action in their operating system).

On the last pages in the nJoy manual, an FAQ is available. This includes expected Bluetooth and WiFi problems.
