Ember Flex Radiant Panels Description
Looking to add some extra heat to your home or office but want to avoid unattractive and potentially dangerous space heaters? Our Ember Flex radiant heating panels offer a compelling blend of technological innovation, affordability, and, most importantly, high-performance heating. Much like the sun, these panels use infrared waves to efficiently transfer radiant energy to solid objects in front of them. The attractive white finish and integrated frame ensure that this panel will add not only supplemental heat but also additional design flair to any room. These panels are also dual connection, meaning they can be used “as is” to plug into a standard 120 VAC outlet or they can be modified by a licensed electrician to have a hardwired 120 VAC electrical connection.
This panel is 35” by 12” and can be installed vertically or horizontally on your wall. Additionally, it can also be used horizontally with a low-profile stand accessory (sold separately—for plug-in models only) to create a movable heat source. This panel also comes with all of the hardware necessary to attach it to your ceiling. These panels are also unique in that they have one of the highest possible efficiency rates and consume the least amount of energy possible*.
These wall mounted electric heaters are covered by a 5-year limited warranty.

Customer Questions & Answers
Ember Flex Radiant Panels has 26 Questions and Answers.
How hot is the infrared heating system when in use?
How far from the radiant panel will the heat substantially radiate and where should it be aimed?
Radiant heat travels through air, and typically heats up objects closer to the panel first and then the rest of the room later. Infrared heating from the panel can be easily detected from about 3-4 feet. Ideally, the radiant panel should be aimed onto the area with more use, since that will be the surface that will warm up first.
23 people found this helpful. Did you find this helpful? Yes NoCan an Ember radiant panel be mounted on the ceiling?
Only the Ember Flex radiant panels can be mounted from the ceiling and they come with all of the necessary hardware to accomplish this.
None of the radiant panel heaters from the Ember Glass or Ember Mirror lines can be mounted from the ceiling.
How do you keep a sunroom warm in the winter?
Sunrooms can be very cold during the winter months. While a furnace may push some warm air into the room, the large number of windows, exterior walls, and other causes of heat loss in a sunroom will typically keep it from having a comfortable temperature level. Floor heating and radiant panels will add radiant heat, which the human body absorbs faster than other forms of heat, to the room so that it feels warm even at lower temperatures.
17 people found this helpful. Did you find this helpful? Yes NoHow quickly does the radiant panel heat up?
The startup heating time for this infrared heating system is approximately 5 to 10 minutes. However, your room will not feel warmer immediately because the cold objects in the room (furniture, walls, ceilings, floors, etc.) need to warm up first. Once these surfaces are heated via infrared heating, the warmth will spread throughout the room.
