nTrust 2.0 Touch Nonprogrammable Thermostat Description

Enjoy the comfort of radiant heating with effortless control using the newly updated nTrust 2.0 Nonprogrammable Thermostat. Designed for ease and dependability, this thermostat features an updated sleek, minimalist design with a new LED display and capacitive touch controls, making temperature adjustments for your electric floor heating system (or radiant panel heater) simple and intuitive.

The LED display is brightest when in active use and it will dim or turn off when not in active use. There is also an indicator light in the upper righthand section of the temperature display that will turn orange when the heating cycle is active.

The nTrust 2.0 eliminates the need for programming—just set your desired temperature and enjoy consistent warmth throughout the day. Perfect for high-traffic areas and rooms, its reliable functionality ensures your space stays comfortable without constant adjustments. Additionally, this thermostat can be used in “sensorless mode”, where it simply cycles the power to the system on and off instead of relying on room or floor sensors, which is useful in situations where sensor installation is impractical or when a straightforward heating regulation is sufficient.

The thermostat is designed for quick and easy installation, taking just minutes if the necessary wiring is already in place. Wiring the unit takes about a minute, followed by a quick setup process guided by a user-friendly startup wizard that completes in five simple steps. Once installed, this straightforward thermostat operates seamlessly with no additional support required.

The dual-voltage (120V/240V) nTrust 2.0 thermostat comes with integrated self-testing GFCI which ensures safety.

Also includes a 10k ohm floor sensor.

Please keep in mind that you must check your electric floor heating system with a digital ohmmeter in conjunction with a Circuit Check™. Take an initial reading as soon as you take the product out of the box to verify that it is within -5% / +10% of the values stated on the product’s label. This will give you a basis of comparison for future readings. Take a second reading once you have positioned the system to match your custom installation plan. It is also advisable to take an additional reading in the middle of the tile installation, just to make sure that the Circuit Check™ is doing its job. Then, take a final reading when you are finished with the floor installation and are ready to hook up the thermostat.

The Circuit Check™ is a tool developed by WarmlyYours to give you peace of mind and ensure trouble-free installations. Simply hook up the cold leads to the tool while you position the system to match your custom installation plan.

The Circuit Check™ will continuously monitor the continuity of the circuit during the installation of your system and during the installation of your flooring. The Circuit Check™ beeps immediately when a short in the system is detected, alerting you to a potentially damaged cable in the area you are working, before you lay the tile over the electric floor heating system.
The WarmlyYours technical support team is available 24/7 to provide assistance if the alarm sounds, or if you would have any questions during your installation.

The breaker and wire sizes are selected based on the total amperage of the WarmlyYours heating system connected to a single thermostat. This information is on the WarmlyYours heating system's installation plan, electrical plan, or UL label. Based on guidelines from the National Electrical Code: loads up to 16 Amps may utilize 12 gauge wire with a 20-Amp breaker, and loads up to 12 Amps - 14 gauge wire with a 15-Amp breaker. Local code and/or other factors may change these guidelines.

Reflective insulation is not effective with conductive heating, which is how embedded floor heating and snow-melting systems transfer heat. To be effective, the reflective insulation surface needs to face an air space (air gap), which allows the reflected heat to be redirected.

An effective solution considers the insulating material's R-Value. This is the rating of a material's insulating properties. The "R" stands for "resistance" and refers to the material's resistance to heat flow, or temperature conduction.

Main heat source for small bathroom

Pam G., Calgary, AB on 02/03/2025

I needed an easy heat source for a small bathroom, and chose in-floor heating from WarmlyYours. I have no experience with in floor heat, so I was very happy with the customer service I received, they were quick to answer my questions and I felt very 'looked after' with my purchase. I'm happy with my purchase, and it has been working great!
