The goal for this 158 sq. ft. master bathroom was to create a true sanctuary—a space that felt as luxurious as it looked. The design featured a breathtaking custom wet room, uniting a freestanding tub and a glass-enclosed shower against a backdrop of dramatic, textured blue mosaic tile. While the clean white hexagonal floor tiles looked spectacular, the design team knew that tile floors, especially in a large bathroom, can feel uncomfortably cold.
To elevate the space from simply beautiful to truly comfortable, a high-efficiency radiant floor heating system was the perfect solution. The installation team used a 105 sq. ft. TempZone™ Flex Roll system, which is designed for fast and straightforward installation in square or rectangular areas like this. The rolls were laid out over the wood subfloor before the hexagonal tiles were installed, ensuring the entire floor would provide even, consistent heat. This in-floor heating system is completely hidden, preserving the sleek, modern aesthetic of the bathroom.
