A Spa Retreat for a Television-Worthy Transformation

When designer Tamara Day took on this master bathroom for HGTV's Bargain Mansions, the goal was to infuse high-end luxury and modern comfort into every detail. The spacious 105-square-foot room was finished with stunning marble and tile, but this created a significant comfort challenge, as stone floors are notoriously cold to the touch, especially on chilly mornings.

To ensure the room felt as warm and inviting as it looked, an electric floor heating system was the clear solution. The installation team used a 105 sq. ft. TempZone™ Flex Roll, which is easily cut and turned to fit the room's specific layout, providing full coverage. This radiant floor heating system provides even, consistent warmth from the ground up, turning the cold stone into a cozy, spa-like surface.

The system is controlled by an nSpire Touch WiFi programmable thermostat, allowing the homeowners to set heating schedules via a 3.5" touchscreen or remotely from a smartphone. To complete the luxury experience, a matte black Malta Towel Warmer was hardwired into the wall, adding another layer of comfort, style, and spa-like ambiance. The final result is a stunning master retreat where luxurious warmth is felt, not just seen.
