Scott has been with us for almost 10 years and is essentially in charge of everything technical support. Today, we have an expert who will provide all the details about our new product line, which has proven to be very popular. We have over 150 people registered for this webinar, which is great news. I'm particularly excited because I started this business 18 years ago with radiant floor heating for bathrooms, and we later introduced towel warmers and mirror defoggers. This new LED mirror is a beautiful, utilitarian, and energy-efficient addition to any bathroom, aligning perfectly with WarmlyYours' commitment to energy efficiency.

If you have questions during the presentation, we will be answering them, and Scott is the person with all the answers. If he doesn't have an answer right away, we will ensure you receive it after the event. We are also conducting a poll to find out your favorite model, so as we introduce the product line, please weigh in on which mirror you think would be your favorite or your clients' favorites. I enjoy watching the poll results come in; it feels like we're working as anchors on election night!

Today, we will introduce the product line and discuss where you might want to place your mirror. We will also clarify some scientific terms, ensuring that by the end of the day, you will be well-versed in Kelvin temperatures, lumens, and CRI, which stands for Color Rendering Index. We will also demonstrate how to install these mirrors on your wall. Our goal is to provide informative content while keeping it slightly entertaining to maintain engagement throughout the presentation.

Let's take a look at the products we have available: the Grace, the Audrey, the Ingrid, and the Maryland. These names may not be your favorite baseball teams, but they do share a common thread. Most of the mirrors are rectangular, except for the Maryland, which is a 24-inch round mirror. Many people ask if they can mount a mirror designed for vertical orientation sideways, and the answer is no. They must be mounted as designed because gravity is essential for holding the mirror onto the mounting base.

The Grace mirror features a three-inch frosted exterior frame that diffuses LED light in all directions, providing a unique lighting effect. This unit will emit 2,500 lumens, which is comparable to the light output of a 170-watt incandescent bulb. Lumens can be a confusing term, but we will clarify it, and by the end of the day, you will understand it well. Interestingly, the poll results show that the Grace is currently leading in popularity, which is promising.

Next, we have the Audrey mirror, which has a one-and-a-half-inch frosted inner frame that diffuses LED light outward. It provides 2,300 lumens, roughly equivalent to a 150-watt bulb, and it also comes with a five-year warranty. All of the rectangular mirrors in this series measure 24 by 36 inches, making them easy to recess into walls. If you wish to recess these mirrors, simply take the dimensions and add two inches to accommodate the frame.

The Ingrid mirror features twin bars on each side, providing a different aesthetic. Due to its design, it emits 1,400 lumens, which is comparable to a 90-watt incandescent bulb. Finally, the Maryland mirror, our round option, has a two-inch frosted inner circle that directs light towards you rather than around the perimeter. It emits 1,250 lumens, similar to an 80-watt incandescent bulb, and also comes with a five-year warranty.

If the standard sizes we discussed don't meet your needs, we offer custom sizes. The smallest rectangular units can range from 20 to 24 inches, while the largest can be 64 by 92 inches. Customization is a popular request, and we can accommodate various lighting layouts, including options for brighter illumination or specific Kelvin temperatures ranging from 2,700 to 6,000 degrees. Additionally, you can incorporate a magnified portion into the design, which can enhance the functionality of makeup mirrors.

It's important to note that while we sell fog-free mirrors, the LED mirrors themselves do not have heating elements to prevent fogging. However, you can combine the LED mirror with fog-free technology in custom orders.

Now, let's discuss the placement of these mirrors. The mirrors have an IP rating of IP44 Class 2, meaning they are not suitable for installation in areas marked in dark blue on the diagram, which typically indicates zones inside showers or tubs. These mirrors operate on 120 volts, and you should avoid placing electrical items in those zones. Zone two, however, is ideal for installation above your vanity, typically two to four inches above the backsplash, as mirrors often get splashed in bathrooms.

When cleaning the mirror, we recommend turning off the LEDs to avoid any electrical issues. After cleaning, you can turn the lights back on. Zone three is where you can place decorative items like posters without concern for electrical safety.

Now, let's talk about Kelvin, which measures the color temperature of light. The extremes range from bright, overcast daylight at 6,000 to 8,000 Kelvin, which can wash out colors, to warm candlelight at 2,000 to 3,000 Kelvin, which can appear too yellow. Our LED mirrors are set at 5,000 Kelvin, providing a natural sunlight effect, making them ideal for bathroom use.

In terms of lumens, which measure the amount of light emitted, the Grace mirror provides the highest output at 2,500 lumens, while the Audrey, Ingrid, and Maryland follow with 2,300, 1,400, and 1,250 lumens, respectively. For effective task lighting in a bathroom, you typically need between 5,000 to 7,000 lumens. Therefore, these mirrors serve as supplemental lighting rather than the sole source.

CRI, or Color Rendering Index, is another important factor. Our mirrors have a CRI of 100, meaning they provide accurate color representation, unlike lower CRI mirrors that can distort your appearance. This is crucial for ensuring that what you see in the mirror matches reality.

Now that we've covered the technical aspects, let's discuss installation. It's essential to verify that your desired mirror location complies with local electrical codes. When installing electrically powered units, always consult with your local inspector.

Before installation, check for wall studs that align with the mounting holes. If you cannot secure the screws into studs, we provide wall anchors for additional support. Each mirror comes with four wall anchors to ensure a secure installation.

To install, use the mounting pan as a template to mark the wall for the screws. After securing the left screw, use a level to ensure the mirror is straight before marking the right screw's position.

Once the mounting pan is secured, you will need to connect the electrical wires. This step should be performed by a licensed electrician to ensure safety. After making the connections, replace the black cover on the junction box.

The mirrors are UL listed, meaning they have been tested as an entire assembly for safety. Once installed, the mirrors will provide a clean look without visible wiring, enhancing the overall aesthetic of your bathroom.

In conclusion, we hope you now have a solid understanding of the technical aspects of our LED mirrors, including CRI, color temperature, and lumens. These mirrors are designed for energy efficiency, costing only one cent per hour to operate, and they come with a five-year warranty. With an average LED lifespan of 50,000 hours, these mirrors are a long-lasting investment for your bathroom.

If you have any questions about custom mirrors, they typically take about five weeks to arrive. We appreciate your participation today, and we look forward to seeing you next month for our webinar on waterproofing, where we will discuss curbless showers and the installation of floor heating in bathrooms.
