The mat was really easy to install.

However I ordered extra temperature probes. It wasn't obvious to me that the temp probes weren't built into the mats. It was a near disaster until my electrician pointed it out. We worked it out, but I would recommend that WarmlyYours makes this part more obvious for the DIYer. Otherwise it was a snap! The floors are working beautifully! We love them! I loved how quickly WarmlyYours provided the schematics for the the floors we were planning. The turn around time was less than a day. I would definitely do this again!

I'm very pleased with the performance of this system.

It keeps the walkways of the patio clear of snow and ice without requiring any intervention on my part. There are a couple of "tricky" aspects to installing it under interlocking bricks. Keeping it flat while adding 1" of screening on top requires something to hold the mesh down due to the wire being fairly thick and having been rolled up in shipping. Changing heights (step downs, stairs) requires planning and access through retaining walls, etc. such that installing the wire may need to be done concurrently to the stone work being done. Last point to consider is that because the heating wires keep the area around them warmer than the rest of the patio there is a differential of frost heaving between the unheated and heated part of the patio. In my case what happened is the ground froze long before any snow or freezing rain fell, so the first time the system came on, the moisture in the lime screening under the pavers melted and this caused a localized drop in the screenings causing the pavers to be left suspended in the air. Two things to mention about what this meant. The pavers were not in direct contact with the heating wires so it appeared that the system wasn't working. to fix this issue, I walked on the heated area and the pavers dropped down to make contact with the screenings and the system then started to work as expected. The dropped pavers (1/8"~3/16") do create a visible line on the patio over the winter but in spring, it evens out again. I say all this not as criticism but rather to inform potential buyers what to expect so there are fewer unwanted surprises. I am extremely happy with the system and resulting clear paths that allow easy access to the BBQ, spa and bird feeders in the winter. Highly recommend the "practical indulgence" of installing a system like this.

My original thermostat stopped working and this was a replacement thermostat.

(WarmlyYours offered it at half price, which was appreciated.) Easy to use and install. This thermostat was very easy to program and its interface is user friendly. I like the option of the black background screen as it puts little light out during the night since our thermostat is installed in our master bath, just off the master bedroom.

I purchased the nTrust thermostat for my heated floors - it serves my needs perfectly, and was a lower cost option.

I set the temp and it holds it there. I am not very technical and didn't want to program temps or fuss with a variety of settings. I turn this nTrust thermostat on at the beginning of the winter season, and it works - what a wonderful concept.

Works exactly how I expected.

Installation instructions were easy to follow and it was a straight forward installation for me.

Easy to install, should have more info on the depth of Thinset however.

Works well with good set-up adjustments.

I wasn't sure to to round up or down the amp setting.

If you are planning a complicated floorplan, don't bother trying to use the complimentary design provided by WarmlyYours.

The problem is, the spacing on the heating wires is not 3", but closer to 3 1/4 ". By the time you've gone 6 feet, you will not be able to double-back like the plans would show you to do. Better to buy it by the square feet, and plan it yourself. Also, I've installed many of these, and this was the first time I noticed that the heating wires are held with double-faced tape for easier installation. It is noted in the instructions, just very easy to overlook. You'll still need hot-melt glue for the transitions.

This programmable wall stat is simply great!

It's very nice to see something easy to use, For some stats one needs to reed a tiny manual to try and re-learn tiny hidden buttons and small dark screen. The nSpire is the polar opposite with a clean look and the best user interface I've experienced! It's easy to install, very intuitive operation and the touch-screen works flawlessly. I can't say enough about it.

So a few things about this transaction...

this thermostat was a replacement for one that quit working after our house was hit by lightning. It was replaced for free. I did not expect lightning to be covered under warranty. Also, when it arrived I did not realize that the wiring had changed. I called support at 5:30 on a Friday night and he very patiently understood that things had changed from before and how to wire it now. That support experience is great and is the 3rd or 4th time they have gone above and beyond in the past with various projects I have done.
