Follow both the NobleSeal TS waterproofing instructions and the heating-system assembly.
NobleSeal TS can be used in radiant-heating assemblies. Noble’s current installation drawing includes radiant heat systems among its substrates. TS is a 0.030-inch CPE composite membrane for interior thin-bed waterproofing and crack isolation.
For a TempZone shower mat, first install and embed the mat according to the heating manual, maintain drainage slope and complete the specified electrical tests. The membrane goes over the prepared mortar bed, with its bonding, seams, drain connection and penetrations completed to Noble’s instructions.
Noble permits NobleBond EXT or an appropriate modified thinset meeting ANSI A118.4 for bonding TS. Tile-setting mortar must suit the tile and application. Do not assume one mortar, seam method or cure time fits every combination. Waterproof seams require the documented overlap and sealing procedure; flood-test as required before tiling.
This answer covers NobleSeal TS and a documented heated assembly. It does not approve every Noble membrane, substrate or sauna installation.
