Heated Driveway System (Tire Tracks) in Use in an Asphalt Driveway

This video shows a relatively long and steep heated driveway in the upper Northeast region of the United States. In this video, our client is using our tire tracks format, during a Nor'easter snowstorm. This asphalt driveway has two rows (tire tracks) of snow melting heating elements embedded within the driveway to help make sure that the driveway remains passible even during the harshest winter weather. In this case, the homeowners opted for tire tracks format because of their long driveway which would have required significantly more energy draw for a full coverage system that ran the same length. Because this system is designed with just two heated tracks, there's less overall energy draw which allows for longer projects like this driveway to remain usable while only incurring a fraction of the energy use (and associated operating costs).
