Hello everybody and welcome to this month's webinar entitled LED Mirrors: the Marquee Series and Made to Order Collections. My name is Scott, and I am from WarmlyYours. We also have a special guest here today. Hi, I'm Lynn, also from WarmlyYours. What a coincidence! Thank you, Lynn, for joining us today. It's great to have you along for the ride, and we're looking forward to all of your knowledge on these new products that we have. If you folks have any questions during our presentation, feel free to ask them in the Ask a Question section. You just click on there, and we will be glad to answer your questions as they come up. We also have a bunch of questions that people have sent in before our webinar today, and we will be addressing those in the question section to ensure that everything gets covered that everybody wanted to see and talk about.

So, what are we going to be talking about today, Lynn? Today, we're discussing our LED mirrors, specifically our newest collection, the made-to-order collection, and our classic Marquee series collection. Our LED mirrors are fantastic; they feature bounce-back lighting that is very bright, providing excellent accent lighting for any room. They come in various designs, color temperatures, and sizes, making them not just a lighting solution but also a design statement piece. They fit beautifully in bathrooms, but many people also use them in other spaces as accent pieces.

I first noticed one of these mirrors in a hotel in Las Vegas and thought they were the coolest things. Since then, I've been really attracted to them. They can add an interesting accent to your space, and some people even choose to place them outside of bathrooms. A common question we receive is about the colors available with these mirrors. In the past, makeup lights had adjustable controls to switch between different light temperatures. My mom used to have one that would toggle between evening and office lighting to help her see how her makeup looked in different settings. This highlights how different temperatures of light can display colors differently.

For our light temperatures, it really refers to the color of the light emitted by the LED. The made-to-order collection can be customized to your preference. You can choose between warm white, which has a yellowish hue for a cozy look, and cool white, which has a bluish tint for a more sophisticated appearance. The Marquee series features a daylight option, which is a bright, natural-looking white LED light. The warm white resembles the candlelight Abe Lincoln used to read by, while the cool white is akin to the lighting in a big box store.

Now, let’s discuss our made-to-order collection. This collection is very new and exciting, featuring 11 different base models that can be customized. Additionally, there is a medicine cabinet option that provides extra storage while maintaining the attractive lighting feature. These mirrors are made in Canada and come with a three-year warranty, along with lifetime technical support. All non-cabinet models have a depth of 1.75 to 2 inches, and you can choose between warm yellow or cool white light temperatures.

Let’s take a look at some of the different models available. Each model has unique features, and the accompanying pictures provide a visual representation of where the LEDs are positioned on the mirror. For instance, the Amber model is available in two sizes: 22 inches by 40 inches or 24 inches by 48 inches, featuring two LEDs running down the sides. The Amber Medicine Cabinet has a depth of 3.75 inches and comes in sizes of 20 by 40, 24 by 40, or 48 by 40 inches. Many people ask if they can simply buy one of these mirrors and attach it to a cabinet they already have, but the answer is no. However, the complete cabinet assembly is a great solution for those looking for this option.

The Amy model features one LED across the top and comes in a size of 24 by 40 inches. The Caroll model is available in sizes of 24 by 36, 36 by 36, or 48 by 36 inches, with rounded edges and two LEDs on the top and bottom. The Clara model has LEDs surrounding the edges and comes in sizes of 30 by 30, 26 by 37, 46 by 37, or 55 by 30 inches. The Isabelle model features rounded edges with an LED around the sides and is available in sizes of 24 by 36 or 36 by 36 inches. The Gen model is similar but has straight edges and is available in sizes of 24 by 36 and 36 by 36 inches.

As we compare the size of the LED-lit portions of these mirrors, it’s important to note that mirrors with more LED strips will be brighter. We will discuss lumens in more detail later, but keep in mind that the brightness varies depending on the number of LED strips used. Now, let’s talk about the Kelly model, which comes in several sizes: 24 by 36, 24 by 48, 36 by 36, 36 by 48, and 48 by 36 inches, featuring two LEDs along either side. The Lucy model is circular, with LEDs around the edges, available in diameters of 28, 30, or 36 inches. The Michelle model is oval, with sizes of 21 or 30 inches in diameter. We affectionately refer to these as our Beetles mirrors, with Lucy and Michelle representing that theme.

Moving on to the non-Beetle versions, we have the Fleetwood Mac version, starting with the Sarah model, which features LEDs across the top and bottom and comes in sizes of 24 by 36 or 36 by 36 inches. There are various sizes and shapes for these mirrors, but customization doesn't stop there. You can also upgrade and customize your dimmer. When considering dimming these mirrors, they require a special dimmer driver, often referred to as a transformer in the LED industry. The LED driver is what converts each mirror to either a dimming or non-dimming unit.

When you inquire about dimming options, we will ask what type of control you plan to use. There are two main types of dimmers: a basic wall-mounted dimmer that allows you to adjust brightness with a knob, and a home automation system that integrates with your existing smart home devices. If you choose the latter, you will need a 0 to 10 volt home automation driver, which requires an additional connection for dimming the mirror light with your system. It's essential to specify the type of dimmer you need when placing your order, especially if you're replacing an old incandescent light with a new LED mirror. Old dimmers are not compatible with LEDs or CFLs, so ensure you choose an LED-compatible dimmer for your new mirror.

Now, let’s discuss the defogger option. Our defogger measures 15 inches by 15 inches and can be added to these mirrors, creating a spa-like feel in the bathroom. It heats the mirror surface, preventing steam from fogging it up after a shower. When installing the defogger, consider the height of different users in your household to ensure it's positioned appropriately for everyone.

As for installation, the made-to-order mirrors are straightforward to install. We recommend securing at least one side to a stud for stability, especially in homes with children. If a stud isn’t available, wall anchors are included for secure mounting. The installation chassis features slotted holes, allowing for some adjustment if you find a stud. Once the chassis is mounted, mark the location for the electrical junction box, ensuring it aligns with the power source for the mirror.

The Marquee series is our classic mirror collection, featuring a touch on/off button, a significant difference from the made-to-order collection. This series offers a white daylight LED, providing natural lighting. The mirrors have a thickness of 0.188 inches. Unlike the made-to-order series, which can be controlled by a wall switch, the Marquee mirrors require you to touch the mirror to turn them on or off.

The Audrey model can be installed vertically or horizontally, measuring 36 by 24 inches with a polished beveled edge and a frosted inner frame that diffuses the LED light. The Marilyn model is circular, with a diameter of 27.5 inches, featuring an LED rim and a frosted inner circle. The Ingrid model can also be installed either way, measuring 36 by 24 inches with a similar beveled edge and sidebar to diffuse light.

We received a question from Bernadette about whether the LEDs are bright enough for makeup application. The answer depends on maximizing the LED area; otherwise, they are primarily considered accent lights. The more LED strips you have, the brighter the mirror will be.

Regarding installation, the Marquee series has three connection points in the back for mounting in either portrait or landscape orientation. We recommend securing at least one side to a stud for stability. Ensure that the electrical box is installed directly behind the mirror to avoid any dangling cables.

In summary, our made-to-order collection takes 10 to 15 days to ship and features 11 customizable models, while the Marquee series typically ships the same day and includes three models. If you need something immediately, the Marquee series is the way to go, while the made-to-order collection offers more flexibility in size and features.

We appreciate the questions submitted ahead of time. If you're interested in joining us for our next webinar, we will be discussing snow melting systems. This is a great time to consider snow melt solutions before winter arrives.
