Today, we're going to discuss the process of removing and replacing the towel warmer switch. The first step is to gather a small screwdriver and locate the area between the metal ring and the clear rubber cover over the switch. Insert the screwdriver into this space, which will allow you to pull the rubber cover off easily.
Once the cover is removed, the next step is to take out the switch itself. Using the same small screwdriver, position it between the metal ring and the black plastic trim ring of the switch. By using the metal ring as a fulcrum, you can pry the switch out from the bottom of the towel warmer effectively.
After removing the switch, examine it closely. You will notice three pins protruding from the back of the switch. Two of these pins have single wires connected to them, while the third pin, located at the bottom, has two wires attached. The pin with the two wires is colored gold, while the other two pins, which each have a single wire, are silver. To disconnect the wires, use the screwdriver to gently move the connector off the gold pin, and it should come off easily. Repeat this process for the two remaining wires.
