Clicking sounds from SmartStat and EasyStat thermostats.
SmartStat and EasyStat thermostats contain a mechanical relay. When heat is called for, the relay engages and an audible click can be heard. Some thermostats are louder than others. Construction materials can also affect the sound: a tiled wall, for example, may make the click resonate more within the room. The audible click is normal.
