nJoy thermostat indicator lights

Read the WiFi, Bluetooth, heating, and GFCI indicators on the nJoy UWG5-4999 thermostat.

WiFi

  • Off: not connected.
  • On: connected.
  • Slow blinking: router unavailable (E8).
  • Fast blinking: cloud unavailable (E9).
  • Two blinks followed by a pause, repeating: cloud authentication failed.

Bluetooth

  • Off: not paired.
  • On: connected.
  • Slow blinking: pairing mode.

Both wireless icons

  • Fast blinking together: wireless-chip failure (E6); contact the installer or WarmlyYours Technical Support.
  • Two blinks together followed by a pause, repeating: firmware update in progress.

Heating and GFCI

The orange degree indicator means heating is on. It can also appear in standby when frost protection is enabled and active.

A flashing red light on the side, accompanied by GFCI TRIPPED PRESS TO RESET, means the GFCI has tripped. After a deliberate monthly test, press the side reset button briefly; a check mark confirms reset. If it fails to reset or trips because of an electrical fault, have the installation inspected. Do not repeatedly reset or bypass a fault.
