nJoy: More on Scheduling

Share:

When the nJoy thermostat is connected to the Internet (WiFi), then the schedule(s) associated with that nJoy account overwrites the locally stored schedule(s).

Are these locally stored schedules on the nJoy App located in the device, on the nJoy thermostat itself, or both?

The nJoy thermostat has a schedule built-in.  This allows the thermostat to operate on a schedule without Internet connection (Bluetooth) or without using the nJoy App (via the thermostat).

This is the same schedule that can be temporarily modified from the nJoy App via Bluetooth connection.

This same schedule is overwritten (=synchronized) with a schedule from the cloud (nJoy account) when the thermostat is connected to the Internet via WIFI.

For the user's nJoy account in the cloud system, there are two default schedules; one for 'Room' mode and one for 'Floor' mode.

The user can create multiple schedules themselves, if they want to have several schedules to choose from (ex. one for when it's not occupied, one for different time of the year, etc.).
