Start with the controller model, operating mode and labeled inputs/outputs.
This guidance applies to the pictured CIMON CM-HP07CD-DES HMI/PLC used in the documented ZoneBraker assembly. Identify the actual hardware before using it on another generation. Check the front-screen mode first: an intentionally disabled system will not heat.
- PWR: indicates controller power; it does not prove the entire heating system is healthy.
- RUN / STOP: indicate whether the PLC program is running or stopped. The physical RUN/STOP switch affects operating mode. An unexpected STOP condition requires diagnosis before restarting outputs.
- ERR: indicates a controller error. It is not proof that someone moved a wire. Record the indication and use the CIMON troubleshooting procedure.
- X00–X07: the photographed unit labels these as 24 V DC inputs.
- Y10–Y17: the photographed unit labels these as relay outputs. Match each output to the actual ZoneBraker wiring diagram and screen status; an illuminated output LED does not establish that load current reaches the heater.
Panel access and electrical measurements are for a qualified technician. Isolate all supplies before checking connections or removing modules. Verify the specified supply and actual measured output when diagnosing a power supply; a green indicator alone is not a pass/fail test. Record model numbers, screen mode and LED states before service.
