For the physical switch at bottom of the towel warmer: which is the on position, the dash or the 0?

The dash represents the "on" position because it signifies a closed circuit, allowing power to flow. The O represents the "off" position, indicating an open circuit where power is disconnected. You can further identify the on/off state of the towel warmer by the LED coming on around the switch when powered.
