The installation was designed for maximum efficiency. The small footprint was heated using a TempZone™ Flex Roll, a pre-sized mat that simplifies laying the electric heating cable uniformly. Crucially, CeraZorb® insulating underlayment was installed beneath the heating mat. This layer acts as a thermal break, preventing heat from escaping downward into the existing concrete slab sub-floor. This strategic installation ensures the system heats up quickly and is incredibly energy efficient heating.
