Use the wall-mounting arrangement and clearances for the exact LAVA model.
The linked legacy LAVA/LAVA 2.0 manual describes wall mounting with the supplied fixing components. Mount the panel on an even wall with appropriate anchors, and keep it free to radiate into the room.
Its minimum-clearance drawing specifies 1.4 inches (35 mm) at the top, bottom and sides. This is the drawing for that product family, not a general clearance for every infrared heater or a complete recessed-installation design. Keep combustible objects safely clear and do not lean objects against the panel.
For a bathroom installation, the installer must observe the applicable electrical-code locations and protection requirements. The manual requires positioning so that a person in a bath or shower cannot touch its switches or controls. Do not treat this as permission to place the panel inside a shower or sauna.
The manual’s wall-mounting detail does not authorize ceiling mounting or boxing the panel into a tight recess. Use the instructions matching the model label and supplied brackets, rather than a clearance or mounting method from an Ember or another LAVA generation.
