The nJoy / UWG5-4999 thermostat shows the 'Set Temperature' and not the 'Current Temperature'.
After adjusting the 'Set Temperature', the number blinks three times and the screen returns to the 'Current Temperature' measured. At this point, the screen should show the temperature that is currently measured. If the screen blinks less than 3 times and only displays the 'Set Temperature', then go to the nJoy app.
In the nJoy app there is an option (Display Info under Display Settings) to set up what is displayed on the thermostat (Actual Temp or Set Point):
- In the app, press (select) the thermostat to be configured.
- Press the “Settings” icon (located in the top right corner, blue gear symbol).
- Press "Manage Thermostat".
- Press “Display Info”.
- Select “Actual Temperature”.
- Arrow Back out of "Display Info".
- Confirm that the desired setting is selected.
