Using the My Leviton app (free, iOS and Android), you can:

  • Turn your towel warmer on or off from your phone over Wi-Fi or mobile data
  • Create schedules and automate on/off times
  • Monitor switch status in real time

The WiFi switch also integrates with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for hands-free voice control — no hub required.

Note: Installation requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and a neutral wire at the switch location. The switch replaces a standard single-gang wall switch.

No, floor heating thermostats are not compatible with the towel warmers. We would also not recommend using both devices on the same control, as it does not take the same amount of time to reach the ideal temperature for each product, which could lead to one unit to overheat and the other to not function properly.

Yes, a regular (non-dimming) light switch can be used as an external switch to control a towel warmer, in addition to the built-in switch on the towel warmer itself.

However, do not use a dimmer switch — dimmer switches are not compatible with electric towel warmers and can damage the unit or create a safety hazard.

Note: A GFCI breaker powering the switch may be required by local Electrical Code.

You can program up to 6 on/off events per day across a 7-day schedule — for example, on at 6:45 AM and off at 8:00 AM on weekdays only.

The Hardwired WiFi Switch (GK16-30090-0003) offers the same automation through the My Leviton app, with additional features like sunrise/sunset-based triggers and remote control from your phone.

Both controls replace a standard single-gang wall switch and are compatible with any hardwired WarmlyYours towel warmer.

Yes. WarmlyYours plug-in towel warmers connect to a standard 120V outlet and typically include a built-in overheat protection thermostat. You can control them simply by plugging them in and unplugging when not in use.

For added convenience, you can plug a plug-in towel warmer into a smart outlet or smart plug (sold separately at hardware stores) to control it via a smartphone app or voice assistant—no hardwired control required.

The WarmlyYours hardwired controls (GK16-30090-0006, GK16-30090-0002, GK16-30090-0003) are designed for hardwired towel warmers only and are installed in a wall electrical box. They are not used with plug-in models.

The Hardwired Programmable Timer (GK16-30090-0002) supports up to 6 daily on/off events on a 7-day schedule. To program it:

  1. Press the SET button to enter programming mode.
  2. Use the arrow buttons to set the ON time for the first event, then press SET to confirm.
  3. Set the OFF time for that event and press SET to confirm.
  4. Repeat for additional on/off events (up to 6 per day).
  5. Use the day selector to apply the schedule to specific days of the week.

You can manually override any programmed event at any time by pressing the on/off button on the face of the timer. The programmed schedule resumes at the next scheduled event.

For the Countdown Timer (GK16-30090-0006), simply rotate the selector to one of the four preset countdown durations. The warmer switches off automatically when the countdown ends — no programming required.
