Four-season sunrooms are a fantastic addition to any home, but in a climate like Minnesota's, "four-season" can be a challenge. The owner of this Maple Grove home faced a common problem: a beautiful new space that became unusable during the winter, making the engineered wood floors icy cold and the room itself unwelcoming.
The solution was to install in-floor heating before the final flooring was laid down. The project installer, ODA SmartHome, selected the TempZone™ Flex Roll system from WarmlyYours. This system is ideal for large, rectangular spaces like this, allowing for quick and simple roll-out installation over the wood subfloor. The 156 sq. ft. of heating roll was installed and then embedded in a layer of self-leveling cement before the engineered wood flooring was glued on top.
The result is a complete transformation. The room is now bathed in silent, even radiant warmth that rises from the floor, heating the entire space efficiently. Controlled by an nSpire Touch WiFi thermostat, the homeowner can program the floor warming schedule from their phone, ensuring the room is always comfortable.
